Meet The Team

Track lover, positive thinker, and driven, Sarah serves as the Event and Venue Manager with The Village Events. Originally from Mason City Nebraska, this gal returned from college and settled in Kearney where she and her husband can be close to home. Feeling a longing and a purpose for gathering people together, Sarah joined Alissa in the event venue world; she prays that with every event hosted at The Village Events Venues, those that occupy the space will feel loved, cherished, and enjoy the life they have been given together. 

Joining the team in 2025, Ruby flawlessly handles the task of keeping the drinks coming during your event. With much thought and great organization, Ruby manages the bars for our spaces. In more ways than one, Ruby has been an influential part to our team from the moment she stepped into our spaces. Always willing to help out and never shy of doing what needs to be done, Ruby is an asset we are thrilled to call family. 

In April of 2019, with some answered prayer and a leap of faith, Alissa bought what was once a run-down building. After months of hard work and hours of toil and passion, the doors to The Village opened. Not long after, The Farm became a new dream to add to the team. Alissa juggles all the pieces it takes to run a business. Along with the support and help of her family, Alissa continues to build The Village Events to serve the community, bring people together, and help create lasting memories.
